PT Tira Austenite Tbk was established in April 1974. The trading company focuses on distribution, representation and licensed sole agencies of high-quality European specialized products of technical machinery. Nowadays, PT Tira Austenite Tbk has three business units: Special Steel, Industrial Gas & Services, and Manufacturing.

The Special Steel Business Unit provides high-quality machinery steel, wear-resistant plates, corrosion-resistant material, and finished products. The Industrial Gas Services Business Unit has 7 filling stations in Java and Sulawesi to provide industrial gas such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Carbon Dioxide, Acetylene, and Hydrogen. In addition, we also have services such as installation, hydrostatic test, cleaning and pipe purging.

The Manufacturing Business Unit has been managed under a subsidiary company of PT Tira Austenite Tbk, namely PT Alpha Austenite. The company manufactures special-grade bronze casting products under the product name Alphabronze and electrode welding (for maintenance only) products. In order to capture business development, PT Tira Austenite Tbk has also established PT Genta Laras Semesta which handles small and medium scale businesses. Presently PT Tira Austenite Tbk has formed a collaboration with Hamana Works through the establishment of PT Hamana Works Tira Indonesia (HWTI) to enter the car carrier market.
