Based on data from the United Nations Environment Program, tourism has a great impact on the environment, that contributes to 5% of total global carbon emissions. For example, the depletion of natural resources, water, forests, energy, and food that supported tourism activities. Unsustainable tourism can also contribute to the air pollution, solid to liquid waste, as well as create waste problems.
