CORPORATE COMMITMENT THROUGH RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION

At Sintesa Group, responsible production is not only about managing waste — it is about transforming how resources are valued, used, and regenerated across our operations and investments.
OPERATIONAL IMPACT
Managing Resources with Discipline
We implement structured 3R practices — Reduce, Reuse, Recycle — across our workplaces. Waste segregation systems are applied consistently, supported by dedicated facilities and clear SOPs.
We actively reduce plastic usage, manage food waste responsibly, and conduct food donation programs to prevent unnecessary disposal. Hazardous waste (B3) is handled through certified third-party partnerships and supported by compliant storage and treatment facilities.
Where required, we invest in infrastructure such as incinerators and wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) to ensure safe and responsible end-of-life waste management
INVESTMENT IMPACT
Scaling Circular Solutions
Through Sintesa Eco Tourism in KEK Likupang, responsible consumption also drives inclusive growth — creating local employment, strengthening MSME procurement, and contributing to regional economic resilience

IMPACT STORIES
When Responsibility Becomes Visible
At Sintesa Peninsula Palembang, the Continuous Improvement Waste Management–Less Plastic Use initiative transforms waste management from a routine procedure into a workplace culture, encouraging both employees and guests to actively reduce plastic consumption. The hotel has also become a signatory to the Gerakan Gotong Royong Atas Susut Pangan (GRASP) 2030, successfully implementing food waste reduction practices as part of its responsible hospitality operations.
Meanwhile, at PT Tira Austenite Tbk, the Office Lighting Energy Efficiency initiative promotes sustainable resource use through the adoption of LED technology and renewable energy integration. By reducing electricity consumption, the initiative helps lower operational emissions while strengthening the company’s environmental performance.
